Hope Arise

This year's summer trip to Pine Ridge Indian Reservation is going to be very exciting. Julie Jealous of Him will be returning to her home land after three years of study and is now newly ordained as a Pastor. It has been 12 years since we began our relationship with Pine Ridge and this year will be our greatest year yet. We will be working on the church building, training Native leaders and bringing hope to the Nation.

Pine Ridge is the poorest reservation in North America and currently the people struggle with addictions and hopelessness. Suicide is rampant, life expectancy very low and basic living conditions are difficult. Yet in the struggle there is a cry from Heaven over His people. White Clay Nebraska which borders Pine Ridge is a place where millions of cans of alcohol are sold every year to the Native peoples. It was shut down in April and both that village and Pine Ridge are now dry! This is great news and a chance for a fresh start.

Hearts are open and God is speaking. Everything is ready for one of the greatest opportunities we have had in 12 years to see lasting change and transformation on Pine Ridge.

We will be planting gardens and delivering chickens, giving away food, clothes, medical supplies, hygiene items and remodeling the church we built. We will be encouraging our friends and relatives and bring the love of Christ to all. Most importantly we will be praying, worshiping and ministering to everyone that wants to receive it.

If you are stirred to join us, there is still time. Applications have to be in by June 1st. If you cannot join us, please consider dropping off some donations or going online and making a financial donation.

We hope to have wi-fi capability and can stream services from Pine Ridge, that will be a first for us. We are also going to be celebrating all the Graduates and praying for them. We will be praying over families, homes and villages. Our hearts cry is to reach as many people as we can with hope, love and the heart of Christ.

Below is a list of things that we still need to make this trip possible. Thank you for praying for us and partnering with us. We will be praying for all of you as well.

Eagle Rock has had amazing opportunities to reach God's children. Here are many of the things that we are doing and will continue to do. We do these things in our local community, out state, within the US and abroad in Haiti.
